Clinique Superbalanced silk foundation in silk Sable

Clinique Superbalanced silk makeup is a foundation that claims to control oil yet hydrates the skin offering a natural finish. This contains 1floz/ 30ml and retails for $25 at any retailer that sells this brand. My color in this foundation is Silk sable

For me this foundation gives a light to medium coverage so if you are looking for more of a fuller coverage then this is not for you. It wears on its own on my combination skin for about 5 hours before you see it breaking down.

Personally on its own this foundation does not offer enough coverage for my liking. However this foundation offers a beautiful finish that I absolutely love. I have used this everyday since I bought it as a thin (very thin) layer on top of any foundation I'm wearing and it gives my skin a beautiful glow without looking like I have too much makeup on. If you love the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation then you would absolutely love this as this is  quite similar. The GA Luminous Silk in my opinion offers a bit more coverage.

However if you love a light coverage then this is a foundation you might wish to check on.

Buxom Eyeshadows - Customizable

I have heard a lot about Buxom eye shadows for a  while now so I decided to try some out in a customizable palette.  Buxom do have some pre-made palettes to choose from however I chose to try out colors that I would know I would wear and love. The palette retails for $40  for 6 shadows at Sephora, Ulta and Macys.

Mink Magnet - this is described as a metallic bronze. On my darker skin this shows more as a rose bronze than a actual bronzy bronze. The texture on this shadow is a bit chunky to the touch but it blends out beautifully on the eye.

Haute Couture - this is described as a metallic Java. I would say that the color description on this is right on. If you have darker skin this would be a beautiful lid color for a Smokey eye. This is smooth to the touch unlike the mink Magnet even tho it is also a metallic shade

Spoiled Sexy - this is described as a Matte Mauve. This is a beautiful matte highly pigmented cool toned mauve that is great for a crease color for almost any skin tone. It is darker than MAC Haux but is almost the same color. If you already have Haux from MAC then you do not need this color. Personally I find that Spooled sexy blends in a bit better.

Filthy Rich - this is described as a Matte Chestnut. This is a extremely warm medium tone brown. On lighter skin this would most likely look more of a orange brown. This is more darker and richer than than MAC brown script

Big Spender - is described as a Matte Sable. This is a dark neutral toned brown. On darker skin this is a very natural  outta V color for a day look

Hot or Yacht - is described as a Matte Ash. This is more of a black/brown cool toned color. Out of all the matte colors I have I did find that this was the hardest to blend. While it did blend it took a bit of an effort for me to really get this color blending without looking patchy. If you have drier eyelids then I would say skip this color
