Lime Crime Cashmere

This is a liquid lipstick (velvetines) from Lime crime and probably one of the most unique colors you can find on the market. Lime crime describes this as half beige and half grey which for the most part is true. But what is unique about this color is that it looks different one each person who wears is. This is a shade I would call universally flattering on any skin tone weather you are pale to the most deepest skin.

On my skin this looks a beige mauve color with a hint of grey. I find this to be an excellent nude for me. It goes on very smooth on the lips just like all velvertines and dries down to a matt finish on the lips. The formula is very light weight and last for about 4 to 5 hours on my lips. I find however it does dry my lips a bit but nothing a little lip balm cannot fix.

All in all I think if you like velvetines this would be a good color to invest on.

Tarte Tartelette Palette

This Palette from Tarte is a ALL matt palette leaning on plum brown neutrals. Though this leans on more to be more cool toned it still does have some warm shades which makes this palette very versatile. I find that the formula of the shadows are a bit different than that the usual Tarte shadows. Usually I find that the Tarte shadows are more soft and kicks up a lot of powder, however the shadows in this palette do not kick up much powder. Even though the shadows are not as soft I find that the pigmentation is extremely good. The shades are dark enough for even the darkest skin

The shadows are very smooth and creamy and do not blend away to nothingness. I find this a great matt palette and is a great addition  to any makeup collection.
